MESSAGE FROM ADMINISTRATIONDear Families,
Mark your calendar for our Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, November 9th, from 9:00 am-11:00 am. Turn in your Pancake Breakfast RSVP flier and come hungry!! We are still looking for volunteers at 9:45-10:15. If you are available to make pancakes, please let me know! We would like to have dads flip pancakes at this event. Contact Mrs. Tobin at danielle tobin@hcpss.org. Long Reach High School is hosting a Fall Clothing Giveaway this Saturday, November 2nd from 9:00am-11:00am. (The line starts at 7:00am.) This is an annual event open to the community with clothing for all ages. The week of November 25th is designated for Parent Teacher Conferences. Parent Teacher Conferences are a terrific opportunity for staff and parents to partner together for each child’s success. Beginning Monday, November 11th at 4:00pm, you can log into HCPSS Connect to view and select from the time slots provided by the teacher for the conference. A few reminders about arrival and dismissal are as follows: Any student arriving after 8:50am MUST be signed in by a parent or guardian in the front office. In addition to signing your student in, late arrivals for illness or an appointment require a note from the parent or doctor. Please remember to send in a note if your child has a change in dismissal procedures. All changes need to be in the office by 2:45pm. After 2:45pm it is very difficult to ensure that the information will get to your student prior to dismissal. Our November list for coming in and being a Watch DOG can be found here. Thank you to those who have already come in. We are looking forward to seeing even more of you at school! Thank you so much for your time! We hope to see you soon in the halls of Ducketts Lane!
Have a wonderful weekend, Mrs. Balter and Mrs. Madden
