Mark your calendar for the next PTA meeting on Thursday, December 13th at 7:00 pm! In addition to our regular discussion, we will have a presentation from the Howard County Family Institute about childhood anxiety – reviewing the signs and symptoms of worry in children, understanding how to identify what is causing stress for them, and learning techniques to teach and demonstrate strategies to help work through worries. Childcare for school-aged children will be provided.

Online registration is not required, but strongly encouraged.

CogAT TESTING

3rd and 5th Grade CogAT testing will be taking place from Monday, December 10th to Wednesday, December 12th.  The Cognitive Abilities Test™ (CogAT) measures general reasoning abilities in three domains: verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal.  Please make sure your child is present during these days, has a full night's sleep and a healthy breakfast.
